Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 4-21g Strengthens the Liver and Kidneys and nourishes the Yin of the Blood.
With Bai Shao, strongly nourishes Liver Blood.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 4-15g Nourishes Blood, preserves Yin, calms Liver Yang and alleviates pain.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
With Dang Gui and Shu Di Huang, for dizziness, blurred vision and dysmenorrhea due to Blood Deficiency or Blood Stasis.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 4-12g Nourishes and activates Blood, regulates Liver and Kidneys, regulates menses and alleviates pain.
With Shu Di Huang, Bai Shao and Chuan Xiong, for menstrual irregularity, amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea due to Blood Deficiency or Stasis.
Rx. Ligustici Chuan Xiong 3-9g Invigorates Blood, moves Qi, releases Stagnation and alleviates pain.
With Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency causing menstrual problems including dysmenorrhea, scanty menses and amenorrhea.
Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 3-9g Tonifies Qi and strengthens the Spleen and Stomach.
With Shu Di Huang, for severe Qi and Blood Deficiency due to loss of blood and Qi and Yin Deficiency.
With Bai Zhu, tonifies the transformation and transportation functions of the Spleen.
With Bai Zhu, Fu Ling and Zhi Gan Cao, for Spleen and Stomach Qi Deficiency with Dampness, anorexia, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal distention and fatigue.
With Shu Di Huang, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling and Bai Shao, for Qi and Blood Deficiency.
Rz. Atractylodis Macrocephalae Bai Zhu 3-12g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi and dries Dampness.
With Shu Di Huang and Bai Shao, for restless fetus due to Blood Deficiency, often with palpitations.
With Fu Ling and Zhi Gan Cao, for Spleen and Stomach Qi Deficiency.
With Fu Ling and Sheng Jiang, for edema with Kidney Yang Deficiency.
With Shu Di Huang, Dang Gui and Bai Shao, for unstable pregnancy with Blood Deficiency.
Poria Fu Ling 3-15g Dries Dampness and strengthens the Spleen.
With Ren Shen and Bai Zhu, for weak and deficient Spleen with fatigue, anorexia and loose stools.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 1.5-6g Augments Qi, ,warms and strengthens the Middle Jiao and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Ren Shen, for anorexia, fatigue and loose stools due to Spleen Deficiency.
Rx. Dioscoreae Shan Yao 9-30g Tonifies Kidney Yin, astringes Jing, tonifies the Spleen, nourishes Stomach Yin and stops diarrhea.
With Fu Ling and Bai Zhu, for Spleen Deficiency with loose watery stools.
Cx. Eucommiae Du Zhong 8-16g Tonifies the Kidneys and Liver, strengthens the sinews and bones and aids the smooth flow of Qi and Blood.
Rz. Cyperi Xiang Fu 6-14g Spreads and regulates Liver Qi.
With Dang Gui, tonifies the Blood and moves Qi, for premenstrual symptoms, menstrual pain and irregular menstruation.
With Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong, for irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea due to Qi and Blood Stasis.
With Chuan Xiong, for Qi Stagnation combined with Blood Stasis.
Rz. Zingiberis Recens Sheng Jiang 3-10g Warms the Middle, stops vomiting, adjusts the Ying and Wei, normalizes the flow of Qi at the center and reduces the toxicity of other herbs.
With Da Zao, prevents tonics from generating Dampness and Phlegm accumulation in the Middle Jiao.
Fr. Jujube Da Zao 10-30g Tonifies the Spleen and Stomach, augments Qi, nourishes the Blood, calms the Spirit and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Sheng Jiang, alleviates epigastric pain, nausea and vomiting by strengthening the Spleen.
